I just went to go pick up mine and the pharmacy said there is a "long term back order on it". Not to be deterred I called Walmart and they have it in stock. I am PRAYING that I can get it there (Rx just faxed over) and that that is all I will need. I have about 5 days left in the house and I am getting about 45 day supply (little less). Hopefully that will be all I need or it will come out of back order.

I just wanted to let everyone know because they quoted me a price of over $200 for the non generic! Quite a shock since I paid less then $10 last time I got it!

Estrogen is used in FET cycles among other things. I personally will have a standing script for it when I am not PG or breastfeeding. I need it for hormone replacement.

Oh My.... I had to take it this cycle to beef up my uterin lining!

I was able to get it at Walmart (only $5 too!) so I am happy now. But it was very scary for a few hours there while I got this figured out!

Really? I got mine from my little tiny local drug store for our FET on 9/13. I believe its the generic. Hmm, maybe I should talk to the doctor about getting another prescription just in case!

You would know if it isn't generic. The cost difference is night and day even if your 100% out of pocket for it. They quoted me $200 WITH insurance for the name brand. I paid $5 for it at Walmart for the generic.

I should also say that I am on 2 mg estrogen so maybe the 1 mg isn't as bad?

Oh and when I asked the IVF nurse because the Walmart estrogen looked different from the Walgreens estrogen, she said that the Walmart estrogen is what they normally see for it. So maybe it is the manufacture for the Walgreens estrogen? The one from Walmart is green and oval. The one from Walgreens is round and blue.
