Diaper Swappers

My friend gave me some receiving blankets her grandma made and I plan to use them as inserts. However...they're thicker flannel and bigger than normal and don't fold small enough. I *think* I can get 2 out of each...but my sewing machine is out of commission for the moment...I'm assuming it will fray but I wanted to check.

Flannel frays and shreds like crazy. I would not cut them unless you could sew them.

Thanks...that's what I figured. I will just sit on them until my sewing machine gets back.

Ohh ya it frays! Even when serged, it still tries its darnedest to fray.
