You've done a great job keeping the space mostly open. BTW, would the older girls agree to hooks inside their 9 ycloset door for their purses? Most older girls love the idea of a walk in closet, so if you have closet doors that open into the room rather than slide sideways, they might go for it.
the sectional is actually from salvation army and we got it for like $100 or something. That's the only place I'll buy used furniture, cuz they put all furniture in this huge kiln type thing to kill any bed bugs, etc (if there were any).

The girls have a closet that slides sideways. And in fact, my oldest dd has so many clothes that my 9 y/o dd has to put her clothes in the closet in the hall. I SHOULD make oldest dd have the hall closet, b/c she's the one with too much junk, but her clothes don't all fit in there We have the extra bedroom/office that we could use for a girl, but it will eventually be the 2 littlest rooms, so my 2 littles will be there, then my 6 y/o and 9 y/o will room together, and my 10 y/o will get her own room. BUT until then I want to use it as my office PLUS my oldest doesn't deserve her own room right now b.c she has a major attitude problem and will slam doors and hit them etc. SOO it's going to have to be something earned. But when that happens, it'll open up that room a lot. I don't really like the furniture arrangement in there either, but I dont know how else to put it b.c the wall on one side isn;t flat, and I tried a billion different ways and that was the best I could come up with. But as far as the purses, I think I may say they need to put them in a storage tote in the closet and pull out the one they want, b.c those hanging on the beds just really clutter up that room.

aww thanks! we'd never be able to get something like this in Cali. Just blows my mind the COL difference! Seriously moving to AZ was the best thing we ever did! I never want to leave!

And yeah, we love it, except for the paint color LOL, but I'll live with it!
