Is your LO sensitive to Tide? Both of mine have super sensitive skin and Tide is ok. I haven't found a natural detergent that works over the long haul. Charlies worked well for a year or so and so did Arm & Hammer, but I always go back to Tide.

I would say any mainstream detergent is a good choice. It doesn't have to be Tide. People have used Cheer, Purex, Gain, All, generic store brands, etc you just have to try one and see what how it does for you. I use Kirkland Ultra Free and Clear. Tide works for some people and doesn't for others, just depends on your water, wash routine, and baby.

What about Nature Clean? Has anyone tried that?

And by "mainstream" I guess that means no environmentally friendly detergents? I had a really bad reaction to regular detergents 2 years ago...

Tide definitely helped us. I was using RnG but got funk that I could never get rid of unless I bleached religiously. Once I started using Tide it was all gone. Oh and I rinse night diapers in the morning if they are soaked when LO wakes. Night diapers are always a bit trickier.

OMG, I'm so confused.....I thought I started this thread.. lol!

I believe that Kirkland's is the same as Tide, perhaps I'll give that a try then.
