Re: Reading

Nope, I don't "make" my kids read. I encourage it, we go to the library, etc, but I do not force it. I want it to be something they enjoy without me making them do it. My kids go in spurts, but then, so do I. There are days where I can't put a book down, and then weeks of no book reading at all. They are both excellent readers.

This is us as well. They read often on their own anyway so I don't have to worry about it really. If they weren't reading much on their own I would probably have 15-20 minutes of reading time daily they had to do.
