S/O what movie/show are you excited to watch with your child when they're old enough?

Harry Potter, Goonies,The Never Ending Story.

My oldest (7.5) wants to watch Star Wars...but 1) I'm not a fan, I've never seen the older version and 2) I think he's a bit too young yet...I think I'm going to pawn him off on my best friend's husband for that LOL...he likes Star Wars so he'll appreciate it vs me falling asleep.

The matrix! He's still a bit too young though, at not quite 8. I was 16 when I saw it and it threw me for a loop.

Don't you know it. I was all excited to watch Pride and Predjudice with my now 13 year old daughter. She hates it.

DD1 is so excited for Harry Potter. It is a big favorite around here for DH and I. She's only 5, so it will be a couple more years. She is also begging for Big Bang Theory, which it will be a good while before she is ready for.

My mum was super excited to watch Basic Instinct with my 16 year old sister and 10 year old brother. Apparently all she remembered from the movie was that Sharon Stone was very pretty

I can't wait for my daughter to read Pippi Longstocking, The Secret Garden, What Katy Did, Little Women, Anne of Green Gables and the Greengage Summer (in that order, haha, this is my fantasy and I *will* control it )

I can't wait to watch the labyrinth with my kiddo. Also any musical, like Annie or the sound of music.

We just saw the latest Bond movie with DD1. She probably is a little young, but there wasn't anything in there that we haven't talked about so we went ahead and took her. She absolutely loved it. It is really neat to see her getting into "older" movies now. Bittersweet, I suppose.
