Hi mamas! I am as my dh puts it...'a carseat nut'. I am very pro-carseat! My son will be harnessed as long as the seat will hold him. We chose a seat that will adjust height wise to help us accomplish this! I changed my avi and now you can see him! He will be 4 next Monday and weighs in at 48lbs. He sits very comfy in his Recaro! Please post pics of your bigger kids in their seats! I'd love to see them.

I don't know where any pics are or if I even have any but my dd is 9 next month and still fits in an evenflo maestro. She is only 49 inches and about 46ish pounds, maybe 48 with clothes on. She was in the maestro until I had my youngest dd so she would have been almost eight.

DD2 is 7yo and harnessed in a Britax Frontier. She weighs just under 60lbs and is 45 1/2" tall. She will be in her harness for the long haul

My friends say that my lo will be laughed at by his friends. But that's fine with me! He loves his seat.

I don't have a pic but my 5.5 year old DS1 is 50lbs and 48 in tall and just barely harnussed in his Nautalis. He will out grow it height wise in the next few months. If it helps he wears a size 7 boys shirt. He has a long torso.

My ds1 is 6yo, 39 lbs and 44 inches tall, he still has plent of time left n his radian

. He doesnt mind it at all.

My big kids is five but he is not big. 33pounds and 39 inches tall. Britax Boulevard 70cs. Turned ff at five.

I don't plan to harness forever, but at least until DS is 6. We'll see about his maturity after that. Anyway, here he is right at his 5th birthday, 42lbs in his Recaro ProSport

Dont have any pics but dd1(7, 42lbs) is in a high back booster-just switched on her 7th bday b/c the harness slots were below her shoulders. Dd2(5, 40lbs) is still harnessed. The very few friends we see that arent still harnessed only ask the girls(well not dd1 any more) why they were still in 'those' seats. They would/will say 'b/c its safer'. We did have someone-not a close friend at all-ask the girls last yr why they were still in 'baby seats'

and they just looked at me like 'whats a baby seat?!' I just smiled and with confusion in their voice they responded 'our carseats keep us safe'. The look on her face was priceless lol
