I got best results on Pinterest when searching more specifically - "dinosaur eggs" returned all kinds of fun crafts and snacks etc..
I did this and It works but takes a lot longer to dry than they say. I'd also use a little less water than you think at least to start with. That way you won't have eggs that aren't dry when th party starts! They set It up with a whole exploration on no time for flashcards....hammers, brushes, tools, mag glass.

Idlk how many kids you will have, but Oriental trading company is a great place to chech! Searching "dinosaur" brought up 14 pages including masks, cardboard cutouts, paddle board games & even a set of 6 "mini dig sites" for $19.
This is what I was going to suggest. Ds2's bday is in January and we had some tubs set up inside with sand and they dug for prizes. We did dino masks and found some dino candy, coloring sheets, etc for the goody bag.

I wish I would have thought of the oriental trading company sooner. Anyone know how ling they take to ship? I'm having a hard time finding stuff locally.

Regular shipping is 5-7 business days, they also have priority and another option (1 day?) if you need them faster

I have made that cake ( or variations on it) for DS for the last three years. It is a little time consuming but not terribly hard to do. It ends up looking great.

here is a link to my FB album with the pics:

If I remember it takes about a week, sometimes less with standard shipping. I have ordered from them for several different things and have been happy with everything we have got.
