Any upcoming doctor appointments or tests?

I have my first appointment with my Midwife October 9th. I cant wait! Ill be almost 11 weeks I believe so we should hear a heartbeat!

My first isn't till oct 16! That's so far away I'm so nervous about telling anyone or getting hyped up about this before I at least hear a hb last time I told everyone at 11.5 weeks and then miscarried a few days later :/

I have some spotting/bleeding going on so I went in this morning for bloodwork.

I'm done I guess with my HCG checks since yesterday went so well. I have my OB orientation on Oct. 10th.

My first appt isn't until Oct 8th! I will be just about 9wks so I am hoping to hear the heartbeat If I am lucky maybe they will do an dating ultrasound

When have you heard the HB in the past/when do midwives check for them? I honestly can't remember when we heard it when I was pregnant with my son. I think it was the second appointment, so I would have been 12 weeks, I think?

I'm overweight so I know it can take a little longer to hear it, right?

I think like at 8wks is the earliest you can hear it...but not positive so feel free to correct me if I am wrong
