Talk to me about sensory toys!!!

We have a ton of plastic fisher price type of toys. I'm looking for info and ideas for sensory toys I can recommend family buy for my new baby (and my toddler).

I would like to recommend items that are:

easily found - I love etsy and stores like that but my family members wouldn't know what to do on etsy!!!

not incredibly expensive!!

can potentially work for both my littles - one will be a newborn at christmas and the other is 2.5 years - both boys!! I'm ok with the newbie getting things that he will grow into and the toddler will like now!!

can also be used for developmental stuff. Mt newbie has Down syndrome so anything that can be used to help develop core strength would be PREFECT but the number 1 criteria for toys are that they are fun!!!

They make sensory balls, they are balls of various sizes that have nubs on the outside. Really anything with an interesting texture or feel is a 'sensory toy'. For core strength for the newbie, being so little, I would think things like interesting tummy time mats, and those 'gyms' that hang toys over their head...

I have some sensory balls and blocks and a taggie blanket as well as a cloth book all black, white, red if you are interested. I may have some other things as well that I am not remembering.
Let me know if interested, they should be cheap to ship so we could work something out.
Oh, what about a mirror? I have one that is soft and can tie to crib or car head rests but is colorful around the sides.
