2nd rinse after usin Tide

I use tide but it's HE. I have a front loader. I do a warm rinse and delicate, no spin because it adds a ton of water weight to my load. Then I do a heavy hot wash with tide between the 1 & 2 depending on the number of items. I don't have this down to a science yet. Then I do a load called 'sport with no soap'. It washes the clothes again and does a high spin at the end so that they come out of the washer already half dry. This is my way if getting extra rinses without having to go down to the basement a lot.

Sometimes, if I've added a lot of soap I check during the sport's cycle. If I see suds I just run a second sports cycle. Because its a front loader I can only really see what runs down the front of the machine. So maybe that's why I said 'run clear' it might not be totally clear, it's just what I assume when the front it clear.

All this may be over kill but so far it's working.

I have a non-HE top loader and soft water. I use Tide with Bleach powder and it's the HE one because it's cheap at BJ's. I use 1/3 cup per load (clothes or diapers) and I wash everything with a second rinse. Clothes: cold wash, 2 cold rinses. Diapers: cold rinse, hot wash, two cold rinses.
