Wanting to try wraps
I wore my baby in a carrier till he got too big and heavy for me to carry him, now I want to try wraps with a new baby. Can anyone recommend some good ones? And where I can look to find some online?

Moby? Do you have any certain places you like to buy them online?

Re: Wanting to try wraps
Ok thanks for the info, I've always been keen on trying wraps never got the chance with my son though because they are so expensive and not readily available in Canada but I think they are more than worth it

Re: Wanting to try wraps
You can make a jersey wrap like a Moby really easily. Or they're pretty easy to find used, at least in the US. I just bought some Osnaburg fabric to make a diy woven.

I love a basic moby for a noob. I'm a ssc lover so a moby is plenty for me until babe is a bit bigger and more solid (I dont like them for itty bitties).

Re: Wanting to try wraps
I made my own moby (5 yards of fabric (slight stretch not a ton though) cut in half lengthwise. so you end up with two wraps per 5 yards) and I LOVED it. I made one set out of swimming suit type material and wear it when we go swimming or to the beach. It was also much cheaper this way.

Re: Wanting to try wraps
If you are in Canada, try this store here. Great selection of wraps and other carries, not just stretchies, but other great carriers as well. If you want to go with a stretchy wrap over a woven for your newbie, take a look at the Wrapsody Stretch Hybrid wraps.
