In addition to the other suggestions, she could use biodegradable/flushable liners, so there would be no rinsing necessary. Just pick it up and flush it if the baby poos. Otherwise, just toss the liner.

PP's have good advice but I'm not sure how he's going to get out of spraying or shaking down the line. Eventually he can't wash the poop. On that front I would probably just say that you are supposed to shake out sposies too and when you have a kid you involve yourself with poop..get over it.

At first my DH refused to shake or spray. He got over it pretty quickly (though he does leave the particularly messy ones for me lol)

I would get flips with stay dry inserts because my thought is he isn't going to like to fold the prefolds or pin or snappi my dh was not thrilled on cloth from the start and he wouldn't have done it period if that is what I chose to use.

Also she should get a wetbag and a diaper pail. I am pregnant right now and can't deal with shaking or rinsing with our diaper sprayer so dh does it. Regular diapers go in the diaper pail and the poopy ones go into the zippered wetbag in the bathroom for him to deal with later.
