First CLOTH diaper, I think it was just an infant prefold under a red Thirsties XS cover. Nothing special. We did sposies at the hospital though.

I would totally splurge on cute fitteds if I could do-over, but I wasn't sure I was going to like cloth diapering so I mainly had an inexpensive, basic starter stash (although I did buy 3 new GMs cause I didn't want to miss that craze LOL, ended up not liking them, so bulky and then too short in the rise).

I only exclusively cd'ed our youngest three, the first two wore preemie prefolds, the newest was in flats from birth cause she was too big for preemie prefolds at 8lb10oz
