Considering homeschooling for my 6th grader and preker

I'm not sure where to get started or what info I need. My son does not do well in a traditional school environment an even with his iep he is treated the way he should be. I guess I need some links or even just some advice and support as I have never homeschooled before but I think it will be the best option for us.

There's a lot of good advice here in this thread. You could see if there are any support groups in your area - just google it. They may be able to provide more advice that is area specific. I would say just go for it - look online at curriculum, but used and just try something that seems like it will work - it might be a perfect fit or you might change your mind .
