my butt hurts when I sit after moving and all. not sure if it is that or just that it is my 3rd pregnancy.

Yeah, I've been having it for WEEKS now! Thank God for my chiropractor, just wish I could afford to visit him more often, but trying to hold out as long as possible for right now so that I can go more often when I am in my last trimester and EVERYTHING aches!

Yep. Mine started about 2 weeks ago. I've been to see a chiro twice, which is helping. Also, I started getting active again & stretching those hamstrings, which is doing wonders (sciatica is irritated by tight hamstrings and mine are ridiculous!).

I'm having that and killer tailbone pain. Anyone know if chiro or physical therapy will help with that? I could barely walk after an 8 hour shift on my feet last night and went home early today cause I could tell it would be bad like that again.

You could try either. If it's specifically tailbone, I would start with chiro - they might be able to manipulate it better than a PT. But either would probably help. It depends on your philosophy towards treatment as the two professions approach injury & management in two different ways. Chiro is a bit more holistic, whereas PT is going to be more medical. Does that make sense? I have some PT training, not as extensive and related more to athletic injuries, but I'll look back at my notes to see if there is anything in there that might help you. I didn't treat a lot of tailbone issues with my athletes

i wouldn't have survived my first pregnancy without my chiropractor due to my tail bone! i injured it several years ago, i thought it was pretty well healed, but once those ligaments start stretching out with pregnancy, it goes all out of whack again. Right now i'm having problems too, but i've been seeing the Chiro about once every week or two. My insurance only covers ten visits a year though, so pretty soon it's going to get pretty expensive. buuuut, if it's the only way to keep me walking...

I will see if I can make an appointment. I don't think my insurance covers chiro at all but we will see. Fingers crossed.

mine started only on the right side about 2 weeks ago. i've been trying hard to strech/ lay correctly in bed. it helps usually.

Do you have an HSA or a flex plan? If so, you can usually use it for chiro. I know I'm using my HSA right now because my chiro is giving me a really discounted price & I can't bill insurance.
