You could try making your own formula as well. I've never done it because I was either on WIC or breastfeeding.
Raw goats milk is supposed to be better than cows milk. I think you can get it in powder form at Walmart, and add a multi-vitamin to it. If you Google it there should be a few recipes.

Ds eats about 1000$ a month in formula. It's Neocate and thankfully ins pays for it
