Anyone used Black/Blue Cohosh...

To induce labour after 40 weeks? My midwife suggested this....I know it's pretty common place, but would love to hear suggestions.

PS - I am in early labour, so this would be to get the contractions going...not to induce early.

I tried caulophyllum, which is blue cohash (homeopathic), and it did SQUAT for me. If you are already having contractions, it may help, though. Like most homeopathics, it doesn't work it you're not symptomatic.
