Hi all.... Went to the potty yesterday and it kinda hurt when I wiped. Upon further investigation this morning in the shower, I found a small "pimple like" bump close to my lady bits...I'm thinking either pimple or ingrown hair...anyone ever had this?

When I was a dance teacher I used to get ingrown hairs fairly often...sister said I need to stop shaving and start getting a brazillian lol

But it isn't where the hair is....I guess I should have clarified it's kind of on the inside where the va-jj opening is....

It could just be a pimple type issue, it could also be a clogged gland. You have several mucous secreting gland in that area and it is possible for one to get backed up and swell. See if a warm compress and some gentle pressure will help it release.

Yep I agree with the above post. I have had one before during pregnancy. A warm bath helped.

I used to get that before I switched to mama cloth. They really hurt! It should go away soon.

Not to be a downer, but I would call your dr/mw. It might be something worse like an STD.

I get bumps like this all the time. The doc told me it was folliculitis and to wash it with dial.

ETA: he said it was cause by an imbalance of strep and staph on the skin.

There is no way in the world it is an STD....I have with only my husband for the past 12.5 years and have been screened for everything under the sun while doing IVF.
