This is me exactly.
Laying down nursing rocks. It's our favorite position.

But I have 2 boppys. One from my shower, and one I got at a rummage sale for a dollar.I washed it up good and had an extra pillowcase for it (also from my shower), so I used that. If I lived near you is totally give you one of mine!. But what about checking out rummage sales or Craigslist if used doesn't bother you. You might even be able to find new one on Craigslist.

A boppy didn't really work for us since i use the couch to nurse and it never seemed to support enough.

As for eating, i would just make sure to eat the same stuff while preggo. For example i drank tons of milk and i usually eat a fair amount of onions, garlic and spice in my cooking. So DS didn't care when i ate that stuff after he was born. But if it wasn't part of my regular diet i wouldn't go out and eat something super spicy kwim?

Also i had a rare steak like a week after and DAMN it was good lol!!

I LOVE my boppy. I have 3! One at my Moms, one permanently in the car, and one at home. I keep the one in the car because i usually sit in the car and nurse as opposed to NIP. Im just more comfortable that way. With my dd at 8 months now we side lay most often, but if not, we use the boppy.

As for diet, i have only found a couple things that my dd did not tolerate well. Really spicy chinese food (she was super fussy) and 3 helpings of beans and cornbread (we were both gassy! )

I have the Boppy and love it. I take it w me to the birth to use instead of a reg pillow. I use it for other stuff besides nursing too.

As far as food, I don't restrict anything. I only would if my baby had a sensitivity to a certain food.
