New here :)
We are a blended family of 2 children, and my partner and I are not married. And our boys are 4 years apart. The younger one does not know they are not related and as he is growing older I fear the question will be asked...and i dont know how i will explain. ODS says "he is my little brother, and I will not tell him we are not related by blood...it doesnt matter"
I am just unsure of how to go about it |

Re: New here :)
Welcome. I'm sure when the time comes it will go over smoother than you think. Try not to stress about it. The more pressure you have on yourselves the harder it will be to explain it.
When he asks just gently explain that even though you're not blood related, that you are all a family. DNA doesn't matter. Hugs. |

Agreed. It will be easier than you think, I'm sure. Children accept whatever you present to them as normal. Blended families are common enough, imo.
