Bamboo prefolds. Suggestions please

Can you ladies please tell me everything you know about bamboo prefolds?

I'm really a pocket diaper Mama but do use prefolds from time to time. I've been using GMD's since she was a newborn but I would like to try something else. Maybe I'm just used to the soft fleece in the pocket diapers but the cotton prefolds seem so stiff (even when I use the dryer). I also want to try something with a little stretch in it to hopefully get a better fit.

I pin so having something that is snappiable isn't a huge need for me.

I realize Bamboo prefolds cost more but I would obviously like to keep the cost down as much as possible. I could sew my own but it seems like it would cost more that way.
