I need help again ladies. I'm trying to make a hat now. My sons head circumference is 21". I was planning on making it a finished product of 20". How do I achieve this when they don't make 18" circulars?

You use 16 inch circulars

Or DPNs, or just magic loop it. At some point you'll need smaller than 18" though unless you're just knitting a tube. Another option is to knit it flat and seam it.

Use 16s, the stitches smoosh together and will fit
