TTC 30+ Oct. 1-Oct. 7

QOTW- I don't hold much stock in it but I hope its true! Cause it did give me my son, 4 daughters and a VERY clear BOY! Yea!!! Like I said I'm not gonna go buy any boy clothes but hey any hope helps right

So I'm on day 4 of progesterone so not much happening here. Good luck to all those testing soon!

I just did the test again and it was the same thing. That is weird

I always thought that was to tell if you were having a boy or a girl too.

Wait I realized I was just stopping it after the boy (prob out of excitement of a boy) and when I did it just now it said 1 was having 2 moer boys and a girl! How many babies was I planning on having? I don't think it's that many although DH would go for it

i'm more active than hubs...hoping for a "surprise"

hey all, thought i'd join here. was in ttc while bf'ing but it seems to have fallen away....started doing opk's this cycle just for 'fun'...though i'm usually pretty certain when i ovulate...hubs is still 'avoiding' by using w/d and i just hope for a breakthrough.

he isn't totally against more children, but is still making up his mind...he said i'd know when he was ready to start ttc...i let him know of my intentions for more and am open with him about where i'm at in my cycle...we had twins last and i think he's scared we'll have more...even had a dream about it last night, lol.

QOTW: I don't really believe in that... I always thought it was just to tell you what you were having when you were already pregnant... weird... but either way, I don't put a lot of faith into those or the gender prediction charts, but they are fun.

Hi ladies, I'm back... I've been posting on the waiting to O thread....
I have a question...

Ok... I got my first pos OPK on CD11, on CD12 I tested a.m. and p.m., the a.m. test was still positive, when I tested in the p.m. the line appeared to be a little lighter then in the morning but I couldn't tell for sure, today(CD13) I tested at around 10a.m. and it was definitely negative.... so... for those of you more experienced with OPKs, does that mean that I prob. O'd yesterday???

Whenever you get a positive on an OPK it means you will most likely ovulate within 12-24 hours from the time you got the positive. It's impossible to know if you did in fact actually ovulate without charting temps, though... OPKs just pick up on that LH surge, but you do not always actually O... the body can gear up to release an egg, and then not.

So if you got positives on OPK on CD 11 and morning of CD 12, you probably O'd sometime on the evening of CD 12 or did or will today on CD 13.

Just my guess.

I really hope you get pg this month (with me, too!) so we can be Due date month buddies again. LOL Welcome!
