Screaming after nursing... :( Help??

This actually sounds exactly like what my daughter went through at that age. I just had to hold her for a long time when it happened. Her favorite ways to be held were either on her belly across my forearm, or upright facing out with my arm in her belly. She always settled right down when we held her in one of those positions. It's a good time to practice using your soothing voice that he will always associate with "good times"

Thank you Kim & Sara, that is very helpful! You've given me a couple other things to try and to think about before we are able to get an appointment to see a doctor. I'm SO grateful for you sharing your experiences to help me figure this thing out! Both my other kiddos had some issues... but really minor compared to this!

Today I tried feeding him "stomach-to-stomach" and head up (his feet on either side of my leg for the side he was feeding on... and fed three times on one side before switching (he drained about half-way through the third feeding and I switched him then). He was able to bring up some burps WHILE nursing in this position which seemed to help a lot! I actually got to see some significant lengths of time with a HAPPY, smiley baby today!!
