And we make cheesey rice! I do it for the kids all the time when I need to use up leftover rice. I add milk and butter and cheddar and melt it all then add some ht rice to it and let sit for a bit. They love it

We had chicken piece cut small and marinated in chopped onion, tomatoe,o.o, salt, cumin, pepper, paprika, lemon juice, garlic, and ginger.
I tossed it all in a skillet and sauted til almost cooked, toward the end I defrosted a packet of spinach and puréed it. Cooked it with chicken for five ten min. Meanwhile I boiled a few "nests" of Chinese noodles and when it was done tossed all together.

Everyone enjoyed it. Spinach is my new fav thing to purée and use in place of tomatoe sauce. I did it over pizza too, but I did purée just a bit of tomatoe sauce at that time to help spread evenly. Kids don't seem to mind

I'm kind of an improv cook, so the rice was just me throwing stuff in the rice cooker. Here's how I recall it going:
2 cups white rice
1 can coconut milk
1 Tbsp green curry paste
2 Tbsp mango chutney with raisins
Stir together in rice cooker and add enough water to fill just above the 2 cup water line.
Cook on "Mixed" setting if you have one.

Lamb was left to come to room temp, then rubbed with a purée of:
Olive oil
Garlic
Peppercorns
Parsley
Put in a deep steel roasting pan in a 425 F oven for 15 min
Reduce to 325 for 1 hour
Remove from oven and let rest 20 min before carving.

I don't have the chutney recipe, but it's really yummy with lots of mango chunks, raisins, and cloves. She's an amazing cook - I got her rum cake recipe as a wedding gift and it's TDF.

This sounds good! I'm going to try it! I feel like I do the same thing over and over again so that will be something new and fun to try.

Last night I browned 2 lbs of ground elk and made vegetable "beef" soup. I'm using the rest of it tonight to do spaghetti and we'll have garlic bread and green beans. It's old and tired but everyone likes it and actually eats. Tomorrow we'll have roast with potatoes and carrots and probably a salad or something.
