Diaper Swappers

I'm currently diapering a newborn, and I'm loving prefolds and Workhorse fitteds. We do the angel wing fold or the bikini twist with the prefolds and have only dirtied a cover once. It was a massive poop that did it. Everything else stays contained. The Workhorse fitteds are great as well. Havent dirtied a cover with those yet.

I have been lusting after the sbish snapless mini's - I think their go up to 15 lbs, and their resale value is extremely high. You would probably get 90% of your $ back on them when your baby outgrew them. From what I have read so far, they have excellent containment, but some babies need an extra doubler for longer periods of time.

I did GMD snapless fitteds (using a snappi helps get a great fit) and RaR covers, the covers have double gussets and Im happy to say this combo was bulletproof for us!

We actually found our nb DR PFs (snappi'd) with Proraps to be the most reliable. It was even better than fitteds (KS0s) or AIOs.

The most fool-proof diaper for blowouts with my newborn have been our GMD flats and Thirsties Duo covers. We use the kite fold with the flats. Also Clover fitteds work great, if you can find any on FSOT since they are no longer being made.

Sbish snapless Mini's are a dream! We love love love them. They fit great and hold everything in... And yes, resale is pretty close to 100%!

I am so sad Diaper Drive Thru closed up shop. I should have bought some when she did that last sale. Instead I just spent $10 each on USED diapers that cost 7.95 new. >.<

ETA: I use wool covers exclusively and fitteds. Most fitteds contain well, but Sandys are the most bulletproof Ive tried.

This is what I was going to suggest as well. A lot of babies can even wear them to potty training, even though they aren't really considered one size.

I haven't noticed that blowouts are a problem in cloth, to tell the truth. BF poop is kind of a semi-solid, KWIM? In disposable diapers it doesn't soak in at all like pee does, but in cloth it soaks in like pee, so you are less likely to have blowouts. As long as you have enough absorbency.
