Busy day here- made some broccoli soup this morning and went for a long hike. We had a busy weekend in the garden, pulled most of the veggies. I need to get my house ready this week for the weekend-- DH is hosting a poker night on Sat, and then we are hosting his family on Sunday for CDN Thanksgiving. Speaking of that, I am in charge of Sunday School this weekend -- if anyone knows a great Sunday School craft for Thanksgiving, that would be great!

I am SO behind in laundry, so that's on my list. I was going to start getting little man's fall clothes washed, but it will be 103 today, so I have time!

I got his room picked up and organized this morning.

I also hope to get my massive linen (total catchall closet) cleaned out. It's hard to do when the little one is awake, and doing it during naptime is out because it's right by his room.

So, thats my super boring week!

Hi all, I'll join, too.

I'm Kylee, married to Joseph. I'm a 28 year old student, SAHM to DS Malachy (2.5) and DD Finley (10 months), and passively TTC our third.

DH and DS were out of town for the weekend, I turned the house upside down in a valiant attempt to get organized. Still debating whether or not that was the best idea, now I have a jumbled mess of stuff to sort through.

our house is also somber, as we found out over the weekend that our most recent round of ivf didn't work, and that insurance won't cover another round, so we're trying to plan out the $$$ aspect for one final round, since we absolutely cannot conceive without it (and we would totally have as many kids as nature intended if we could conceive naturally). and then, we had to spend a good chunk of the weekend with my brother and his wife who is due in 3 weeks, which is really hard right now. we found out they were expecting (a surprise to them, I think) during our first round of ivf, and here we are months and months later without a pregnancy, and only one shot left (cause we can't afford more than one round).


I have some serious fall cleaning to do this week, as my sister and her soon-to-be fiance are coming to visit this weekend, so I need to get the house ready. plus, our holiday of Sukkot started today, and I still have to get our sukkah finished, the budget isn't done for October, and we are behind where I was hoping we would be with homeschooling, so I need to readjust the plans. all in all, I feel behind the 8 ball and pretty grumpy about it.

Tried to do a bunch of errands today and only made it through half. No second nap today, meaning cranky baby after dinner He is so stubborn.

I have to plan what I am packing for Cabo this weekend without my DH or DS. I am getting nervous about leaving my DS, I just haven't before for more than a couple hours. I also have no idea what will fit me. Pre-DS I was a size 00 and wore 24 jeans and weighed less than 100 pounds. I am not that anymore. Not close. I have no clothes that fit me. I am not huge and generally am okay with how I look now, I think I look more than a woman with curves, but I haven't really bought new clothes and just not sure if I have three days of resortwear to fit me.... silly issues, I know And the bathing suit issue! Where can I get a one piece? Does anyone know?

As for my SAH life... I need to purge and organize. Kylee, tell me how fast you can get your house back together and you will motivate me! I need motivation. I need to get rid of these tiny clothes, they are depressing.

Boring day here. Baked some bread, picked up the house, did a little swagging, and did a sticker book with the kiddos.

Online yard sale? Where? Lol, I am a bit of a yard sale junkie.

We found out I ovulate once a year and so the chances of concieving are next to none without meds. I go friday for some test results to officially confirm this and to start my first round. Many hugs your way Daddy.

Yesterday I totally purged the mudroom of junk. I kind of did this a few months ago and held on to some items that I knew eventually needed to go but deep down I'm a pack-rat. Now we literally have enough room to fit a second set of shelving in there and it looks SO clean. I threw out so many things...4 garbage bags and a box of just junk and have 2 to be donated. I cleaned out Dh and I's closet and finally just put away my maternity clothes. It's been almost 11 months of trying only to find out that my chances of conceiving on my own are 5%ish and Ds is my little miracle. I got Ds's room cleaned up. The bathroom got scrubbed and under the sink got reorganized...now I got to work on the bathroom closet and medicine cabinet. Floors got scrubbed. Canning shelves got rearranged and organized. Meal list for October and grocery shopping is finished as well.

Today, the plan is to catch up on dishes (HATE doing dishes), work on making and freezing breakfast's and snacks for the month (breakfast burritos, french toast, muffins, granola bars...) and baking a dessert for the boys this morning.This afternoon Ds and I are going to carve pumpkins and decorate the house for fall. Tonight I have Bible study so we are having speghetti and garlic bread. It's a rainy day here so not much else to get into.
