Re: GMD prefolds or Imagine prefolds...which is better?

Right now I have the red edge unbleached GMD & Yellow edge (medium) Bamboo Cotton Imagine. Both are very soft but the Imagines are softer. The Imagine are a little denser and the GMD a little "gauzier". I poured 1.5 cups of water on each trifolded and while both were completely saturated, the bamboo held the water better, the GMD dripped. From my own experience with the larger sizes, I plan to go with the Imagine Bamboo for my next little one.

***Update*** I didn't realize the xsmall bamboo imagines were 3x6x3. After looking at it further, I'm going to stick with the GMD newborn/orange edge and then switch to the Imagine bamboo prefolds for the other sizes.

Re: GMD prefolds or Imagine prefolds...which is better?

The XS imagines are like preemie prefolds but the size of newborn.
I would go with the GMD since they are more absorbent.
I haven't noticed any difference in softness between the two.
