In January I bought a few pairs at Motherhood, Old Navy, and Target. This thread reminds me I need to list them on FSOT but I'm being lazy.

I have tons of these! I prefer them later in pregnancy also. I've gotten pretty much all of mine at secondhand stores or yard sales.

I feel the same way about the sagging pants... but I also don't like how the full panels feel claustrophobic! Anyhoo... you can find a lot of them at consignment stores, and they're often cheaper. Do you have Kohl's? I've seen them there, and the material is super-stretchy, unlike some of the older cotton versions.

I just bought some at old navy for $10! But every time I tried them on they made me batty, so I returned them...

Target has them. I got mine at the BX here on the military base.

I prefer the other kind for summer, but it's nice to have the extra layer for winter. Also, since pants sit so low now, it's nice to make sure you're not showing off your butt in the back when you sit

My jeans all had a stretchy cotton part that went up over your belly. I got them at Thyme. One pair I got on sale for only $20. They were so comfortable.

thanks for the post. i kept finding those thin, underbelly band ones too and being that this is my first pregnancy i bought a few but i realize now i really don't like them! i'll take a look at a few of the retailers ladies here listed. ty!!

I kwym. I searched desperately for the same type of tummy panel I had back in 2001 when ds 1.0 was being baked. LOL Seems like they all cut them off so they fall right across the belly button (pointless!) or they are some odd nylon type material. What worked for me was getting the type with the thick band that's intended to fold over once, leaving it up and putting one of those bella bands over the top. No more hiking my pants every three seconds.
