Re: Flips Full-Time?

We do, but use pad-folded flats or tri-folded prefolds in them instead of either of the Flip inserts. We used to have some of the stay dry inserts but I traded them for flats so I could hand wash easier. I've been debating buying a couple though just so it's easier for DF to lay in the cover when he's home with DS on Mondays.

I have a bunch of flour sack towels that I've pad folded in there and like that way better than prefolds. DD is so squirmy I don't know that I could easily put a flat plus a fleece liner in there without it being a huge struggle/mess.

Or sew a fleece case to put the prefold into so it doesn't bunch up.

Good idea, but I sold my prefolds. I still have several FSTs and receiving blankets though. Along with 12 brand new Sunbaby and Alva diapers that are practically impossible to stuff due to sticky PUL. Sigh....

I did use them full time for a while. I don't love the stay dry inserts though. They were so hard for me to keep clean in my front loader. I switched to prefolds and flats in my flip covers for that reason.

Re: Flips Full-Time?

I use the Cotton Babies OS insert socks. They work marvellously to keep DS bottom dry (He is also sensitive to wetness directly on his skin) and I would say add little to no bulk.

I use Flips full time, but boxes up my stay dry inserts - I loved them, but our washer and dryer are horrible, and they were too much a pain to wash. Sooo nice for the diaper bag though.

I use pad folded flats now, and the flip organic inserts at night.

We use Flips w/the stay dry inserts most of the time. We also stuff the inserts in BG 4.0s for daycare when DS goes a couple days a week.

Re: Flips Full-Time?

I think so. I basically do, but have flats for when I run out of stay dry and use pockets at daycare and organic inserts at night. I work every other day so I use them all day then and after I get home on the days I do work. They work fine for me but I think DD is starting to out-wet them as I really need to change her pretty soon after she wets, but that's probably just my kid

A little ecover or 7th generation fabric softener really makes stuffing easier.
