Re: Up to how many lbs.did you front carry?
I still occasionally front carry my 25lb 10 month old...but not for too long!
I reserve that for short trips, or when he's needing some extra snuggle time.

Re: Up to how many lbs.did you front carry?
I don't mind doing it when they are older while I am sitting (like at the computer, during school hours or at church) but most of the time I am up working and so my babies are on my back before 2 weeks old. By 3 months when they start getting grabby, then they are for sure on my back all the time. Currently my 2 month old still stays on my front about 75% o the time. Plus, I have tall babies so their heads get in my way really quickly.

Re: Up to how many lbs.did you front carry?
I started back carrying consistently at around 15 pounds. My husband still occasionally carries our 35 pounder on his front

Re: Up to how many lbs.did you front carry?
I front carry my 28# 21mo in a Tula I got on paxbaby.com because a few of my friends loved theirs and totally recommended it. I need a toddler sized one though as of a few months ago and that is why I got it. I went from a Gemini to the Tula and I aslo have a Mei tei hald buckle from Beansling that is comfy. I front carry now mostly for sleepy snuggle time. When I am out and about and going to wear her long time I will put her on my back. I watch a lot of utube videos to learn how.

Oh and I didn't switch to a toddler carrier because of her weight but more because she got to long in the legs. She wasn't being supported knee to knee. But the Gemini served us well and is lent to a friend and will be used for the next one.
