Pink in moderation here too. Way too many of DD's hand-me-downs are pink. In order to balance out the pink proportion, my rule for clothes shopping is to not buy DD any more pink.

I prefer to see DD in orange and yellow.

I may be the only dissenter. I love pink. And sparkels. And rhinestones. And tutus.

I do have other colors in the mix, but mostly trough hand me downs. Send me out on my own and it looks like I shopped at either the barbie outlet store or a drag queen supply store.

Hence, DH does the clothes shopping.

I like pink

but we enjoy all colors

now when I was trying to find my 2 year old a shirt with a dinosaur on it, we had to shop everywhere and finally just bought a boys tshirt.

I dont mind the pink as much as the flood of skimpy clothing or tshirts with inappropriate slogans.

I like pink. But purple is the go to color. I just got the girl's christmas dresses - purple, black velvet and rhinestones. Teal and brown look awesome on DD1.

We did the boy thing for a long time before having a girl. It was all pirates, bugs, sharks, camoflage and such. So I actually love all the pink sparkly stuff. We have other colors in the closet too, but I love all the girly stuff I have to say. I am not a girly girl myself, so I am surprised how much I enjoy it.

I thought I would have a mild heart attack when I saw a lacy G-STRING in size 3T.

Whoever thought of such a thing should be shot dead, and the parents buying them should be seriously evaluated for a mental condition.

Well, ODD has red hair, so we only do a little bit of pink. Mostly greens, blues, purples. YDD is blonde and blue eyed, so we do pretty much any colour.

One of the many reasons I loathe clothes shopping. Its a huge pain when you have a dd who loves blue and black and couldnt care less about sparkles, rainbows, and butterflies

I hear boys arent any easier though-with everything being skulls-so Im not thinking my shopping is going to get any easier...

My favourite colour on my DD is navy blue. It is stunning with her eyes. Hard to find nice navy blue things, though, so I generally snap them up when I do find them. Her favourite colour is fire engine red.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I have always struggled with this, but find it really bad since coming out of the little girls' section and into young miss.
