Re: RSVP?

Okay so I should assume people are coming, minus the one parent who called to say no? geesh! I wonder if people would RSVP if I had just left a phone number for them to text to..... Its like people are afraid to speak on the phone these days!

I have found that people are more inclined to RSVP if its a FB event or brought text.

I do evites because it reminds them. No one calls for traditional invites, which is so rude!

Re: RSVP?

Every party we've had only people who did RSVP showed up. I started including my email address and lots of people responded that way.

Re: RSVP?

For DS's adoption party, people came without RSVPing, and those that RSVP'd didn't show. Since we'd invited about 200 people and only about 50 RSVP'd, it was really hard when buying food to know who to buy for.

Re: RSVP?

I think it is ok to call and check. Also, evites are a great way to do invitations. My daughter has been getting lots of those and they are very easy to deal with. Also they send email reminders.
