What is this rash?
I'm a cd newbie and my baby girl is 8 weeks old. I just noticed this rash which is a collection of small bumps below her naval down to the folds in her thighs, but only in the front of her privates . She doesn't seem to be bothered by it during the day or when I change and wipe her. I've been using a prefolds and covers today and sometimes a bamboo liner and night. I also have used alva 4.0 and alva NB but made sure not to have the mf touching her skin. I've only bleached once when it was smelling and rinsed until I could no longer smell it since I was worried about it. Any thoughts or suggestions ?? Looks like a heat rash, maybe?

Re: What is this rash?
I agree, could be a heat rash. In addition to trying the powder, another thing that will help is avoiding diapers with PUL. Breathable cover options like fleece or wool will allow for more air to circulate, keeping the diaper area cooler. PUL is marketed as "breathable", but compared to fleece or wool it breathes much less and stays warmer. Another option is to not use a diaper cover at all, although that is more challenging when dealing with an infant. Baby leggings are a good option for keeping legs warm in cool weather when going w/o a diaper.
