My kids are getting a train table. They will be 4 and 20 months then. They have been to 2 places that had them lately and they both loved it. They even played together

Also I ordered wood cars from the mama made them coop for my littlest.
When DS #1 turned 2 we got him a power wheels 4 wheeler. He never really played with it, and now it's in the garage

I really wanted a train table and I'm still debtaing it. Right now they are playing on a short table with folding legs, one of the asian style ones. If I don't do a really train table, I may ask my uncle or FIL to help me make something to put on top. They are both into building with blocks and cars.
I'm also planning to make a table topper mat out of felt. with a road, trees, building for their cars.

Re: help! I have no idea what to get my 2-yr-old son for Christmas

My guy got Chugington trains for Christmas last year and a small track set. He LOVES those trains. They are die cast, so can hold up to a 2yr old's "throwing toys" tantrums and just how hard they are on them.

They are the perfect size for his little hands, and he just loves them.

He also has some squishy blocks that squeak when you squeeze them.

He loves the Thomas the Train sets.... especially the ones that have batteries that chug around. But the Chuggington trains are less expensive and I think less likely to break.

God bless!

For DS's second birthday, the train table and set was the biggest hit.
