flash cards, PC, or book?

im wondering which works best. i mean i know it matters on each child. But which is worth it in the long run. I went tonight to look for some flashcards for DS (colors, shapes, and basic pictures), yeah i wasnt impressed. then i saw the workbooks and thought " oh thats neat" but then it was a bit advanced i think. Then i saw the computer cd but thought no he wont sit here. So was Walmart maybe not the right place or was i looking at the right stuff and not thinking about it right?

im going to have DS for a week come end of this month and i want to start working with him before that but i think that week i can make a big difference, so any suggestions?

I was actually asking because the program I was gonna recommend is for 5 and under. You can find more info here

www.iahp.org & www.gentlerevolution.com

I think these programs are amazing and they worked wonderfully for my DS, but I know that they are not for everyone.
