Personally, I leave my kid in the recently recalled bumbo seat on top of the kitchen table so I can get stuff done.

No way. That is scary! I have been known to leave DS sleeping in the car in the driveway while taking in groceries but thats it. As soon as i get the last of them inside I get him out even if he's still sleeping.

Is it? Thats where I'm confused. I got the impression it was a condo situation so there are more people living right in the vicinity. If it's part of the house and no one could get in the garage easily I wouldn't be so worried about it. I would assume the mother would take temperature and such into account. My main worry was strangers around.

If I read correctly the garage is attached and locked, she has the door that leads from the garage into the house open. I don't think anyone would get in.

Regardless, my kid is crafty like a fox so no, I would never personally do it.

im assuming she meant the door that leads into the house. when my client refuses to get out of the car i pull into the garage and do the same thing. she can sit in the garage all she wants. i just leave the door leading into the house open

I don't like the left buckled part, even my 4 year old wouldn't be able to get himself out if there was an emergency. I also have friend and she leaves her infant dd to sleep at night in her carseat and I really don't think that is great for long periods of time like that, even though the carseat is right next to her.
