We have the Svan for both of our kids. Same idea as the Tripp Trapp but more aesthetically pleasing to my eye. And I don't know about the Stokke but the Svan fits in our hatch easily so we take it to restaurants.

Re: After the High Chair
we're the opposite, lol... we started out with a booster with a tray, and i got a stokke seat when he was about 14 months old i think. he just turned 5 and still (mostly) uses it. i think i may need to lower the seat again soon though, hes growing so fast!

Re: After the High Chair
We have the Safety First seat (well two of them actually since my boys are 13 months apart) They are adjustable, fit really easily onto any chair and fold in half so they are easy to transport. We just use them without the tray and pushed up to the table. Cheap and easy.
Now that we only need one of them, we keep the second one in the car for when we are at family's houses and need a seat. |

I miss the old Little Tykes Boosters. Perfect fit every time.

We just had the first years infant to toddler booster the entire time.
I like it because it's completely cleanable - the straps can come out and the plastic gets wiped down after every meal.

I just got the Graco Blossom booster for DD and she loves it. We have a counter height table, so she had been in a The First Years Infant to Toddler Feeding Seat instead of a highchair. Our choices of boosters were limited b/c we apparently have a smaller than typical space between chair and table, but the new booster fits great!

Re: After the High Chair
We have the plastic Fisher Price Boosters. We have 2 of them and have had them for several years now, one for 7 and the other for 4. They have held up great. (Actually, my mom has 2 of them too, but hers are newer.) We never even bothered with the highchair with my younger set of twins. We went straight to these. For a while they used the trays (and still do at breakfast and lunch in the kitchen because of how our set up is), but now they are right up at the table without the trays (for dinner).
I often say that the first one I bought was the best $25 I spent on my first son. They are portable, small, durable, totally washable, affordable and perfect for us. ![]() Good luck! Here is a link just in case: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20 (I just noticed that out of 1300 reviews, it has a rating of 4.7 stars. I'd say that's good and I'd definitely agree! Great product!)
