WAHM custom dipes

I'm looking at some but have a specific problem..

They are more expensive than new diapers that I know I like. And their resale value is terrible, it seems... So what's the draw? The prints???

For me personally I come at it from the perspective of a WAHM since I am one. I just like buying WAHM made stuff because I enjoy supporting an individual. I also understand that WAHMS generally work for very little money per hour when it is broken down so I don't mind spending the extra. I am not sure why others pay more though.

Usually it is for something specific....or something that is "fun" for our family.....or something that I need...like a specific fabric for sensitivities etc.

Got it! If they resold well, I'd be all over them, since I always resell! Been really bummed watching the resell prices for them :/

yeah - that has deterred me from jumping on some super cute splurge "implule" purchases cause I know that even brand spankin new I wouldn't even get close to what I pay. It's sad though cause those WAHM diapers are usually just as good as the mainstream, and sometimes have even better fabrics etc.

I like the ability to customize or the WHAM's willingness to try something similar but different & the option to send in my own materials if I'd like to be used. I'm not generally concerned about resale value so maybe that's also why I prefer WHAM options. Plus there is just something about feeling like you are helping to support someone to do what they want
