You lanolized in the machine too? How much wool wash or lanolin did you add, and did it work as well as a soak in the sink? I want to try this!

I just used the same amount that I would have used with a BIG load in the sink....2-3T. maybe? So far they feel just the ones in the sink....she has a pair on today and no issues so far.

I was panicked the whole time, but everything came out just fine.

my fl has a wool cycle...I haven't put lanoline in it yet. Worried it would affect my diapers if I wash them next...I know DORK!

Oh man I would love to try when all my wool gets in but I am too nervous. I am fine handwashing but the drying oh my gosh that is a PITA.

What yarn base is your hand knit wool? I'm still afraid to try for softer base like gaia and BFL aran. But toddler / sturdier base is totally ok going to the wash.

Re: I washed 12 pair of woolies today!!

My old P.O.S. top loader doesn't even have a gentle cycle option. I guess I won't be attempting this.
