Re: Where do you shop for your clothes?

90% of my clothes are from thrift stores. I lost a lot of weight and was dropping through sizes so fast it didn't make sense to buy them anywhere else. I got such good deals and liked the clothes so well I just kept doing it. Sometimes I will buy t-shirts I like at Old Navy or Khols and I buy my panties and sports bras/exercise gear at Khol's usually but that is about it. I have to special order bras. Dh gets the vast majority of his casual clothes at thrift stores too, he asks for work clothes for gifts though he has picked some up at thrift stores. We score some of the coolest stuff there. The kids' clothes come from thrift stores too (minus a few things from anime conventions like Kearnan's Kingdom Hearts shirts). Tharen has 12 tie dye shirts now thanks to thrift shopping.

Re: Where do you shop for your clothes?

Mostly online. We just got a halfway decent thrift store so I have been going a little nuts there We used to just have crappy thrift stores that were expensive and never had good clothes, but we finally got a Value Village and I can usually find a few good things there. I just lost 20 lbs and had to buy a new wardrobe. I also am in love with Aeropostale right now. I bought a pair of jeans at the thrift store for $15 and loved them so much I went to their site and the same jeans were on sale for $12 so I bought several pairs. I paid $85 for two pairs of jeans, a dress, a pair of lounge pants, two pairs of undies, three tank tops and a long sleeved shirt. I am a hoodie fiend and wear one every day, and I've bought several Aeropostale hoodies from Value Village.

Eddie Bauer and Boden. I'm tall and I like my clothes to fit. Used to be Lands End was fine but they stopped making tall clothes. I'm mostly a nice T-shirt (or henley) and jeans person, but I love Boden skirts.

Old navy quality has really gone down hill...I would say they last about the same as target anymore. I only buy trendy pieces from there now.

I have started paying more and getting quality over quantity, so I am up in the air right now about where I will replace items as needed.

Re: Where do you shop for your clothes?

Its honestly sad how little clothes I have bought in the past 6-7 years. So when I do buy the odd thing I check out old navy, target, and most recently maurices. I actually really liked maurices stuff when I bought some at the end of April before we got pregnant with baby number 4 !
