Re: Keeping emergency diapers in the car?
I have in each car - 1 Babyland OS diaper, 1 size 3 disposable, and a little ziplock of disposable wipes all in a big gallon ziplock bag. I've had to use this stash a couple times!

Re: Keeping emergency diapers in the car?
My car emergency pack is two sposies and a mini pack of wipes. But I usually carry cloth dipes and wipes with me in the diaper bag so I haven't needed to use it so far.

Re: Keeping emergency diapers in the car?
My diaper bag comes with me in the car everywhere. I carry the diaper bag and my purse to and from the car. If I don't use anything in the diaper bag I leave it in the car. If I do I bring it in and change it out.
My car is full of emergency things. I have a coat, a pair of shoes, hair bands (not DS) for each kids. I also have enough crumbs on the floor to be able to eat out of my car for a good couple days.

Re: Keeping emergency diapers in the car?
I try to always bring a few when we leave the house, but there are a few sposies and I keep a econobum and receiving blankets in the van. I love using receiving blankets as inserts (basically is a super absorbant flannel flat and i fold them into a long rectangle and just lay it in the cover.. oh and theres a few flannel liners to put on top of the "flat" to keep him dry.

I keep a couple of least favorite diapers in the car just in case of an 'emergency'.
(and I don't miss them from my stash).

Re: Keeping emergency diapers in the car?
I don't but if I did, it would be something cheap but bulletproof like econobum cover and pf...I live in a hot climate and a summer in the car would kill it for sure. I actually don't leave anything in the car for that reason, really. Well, anything with elastic. lol.

Re: Keeping emergency diapers in the car?
In theory we do, but we end up using it fairly often ... I'm not the best at the "be prepared" thing. Recently had a very unusual poo in the car (29 months and he's never done that), and had left the diaper bag at home, and used the emergency one a few days before ...
Ended up cleaning him up with his T-shirt, a pair of socks and a bottle of sweet tea, then letting him go commando under his pants, with a coat but no shirt (he's PLing and stays dry for hours). But ideally we have a BG I don't like much, and a pack of wipes, in each car.
