Birthday party activities?

My sons birthday party is this Saturday. There will be a dozen kids, ages 2 to 7. Can you share some ideas for things they can do besides play with my kids toys?

Only thing we have is the piñata, and twister game. But need more ideas. Help!

Decorate cup cakes
musical chairs

those are my two go to ideas. if i think of anything else i'll let you know.

We've done musical "spots" where you either draw circles with chalk on the ground and cross them off, or put circles of paper on the ground and pick them up. Easier than musical chairs especially with mixed ages.

Can make/decorate maraca-like instruments. All you need are small recycleables with lids, dried rice and/or beans to fill the containers with, fun colored/patterned duct tap or packing tape and embellishments (stickers, jewels etc). A fun project and party favor.
