There was an earlier thread on this, but I can't find a video that works on the darn things, so I am hoping some of you have pictures of them in use? I am talking about the flexible rubber rings that are used now for homebirth instead of the hard plastic clamps. Thanks!

I have no idea how to answer your question! But, i want to know why you would not way to use the plastic clamp?

This actually pretty darn cool!! I bet it looks better than the clamp and not all squishy like when they take it off.

My midwife used one on my son. it kind of reminded me of tying off a balloon? His stump ended up falling off at 3.5 days, and I don't know if it had to do with delayed clamping or the cord ring or a combination of both, but I liked having the ring on vs. a clamp.

Sorry, it worked for me. Hopefully someone else will have pics. I can take pics, but not until close to Christmas.
