I made it 6 mos BFing DS4!!! After the rough start where he would not latch well, liked the bottle better, and I almost quit, we made it! No more bottles of formula and I was able to actually pump today after he ate and got 2 ounces!!! I am getting let down again and leaking. We have really made it work despite the lip tie. I hope to make it at least another 6 months

Thanks! I cannot believe we are already at 6 months! Seems like he got here yesterday. I am glad I have been able to have my nursing relationship with him and that I did not give up when it would have been so easy to. I knew I could not as I wanted to breastfeed so bad like the others. He is my last and I want to allow him to wean when he is ready, not before.

Congrats Mama! My little girl and I are coming up on 7 months and had the roughest start. I KNOW how much of an accomplishment it is! Now she's a regular boobieaholic!

It is huge!! Glad you have overcome, too. My last 2 were so easy to nurse. This was a humbling experience.
