BGE worth the $

I want to go with a OS AIO or AI2 with a cotton inner. I am not really finding much except the BGE, but are they worth the price?

absolutely, I love having and AIO without dealing with synthetic inners. We use fitteds and wool or BGE's for 8 month old. I love them!

Re: BGE worth the $

I think they are worth the used price :-) They make up the core of our stash and are most of what we send to daycare. I don't think I could justify $24 for any diaper to be honest, but I can manage the $12 I paid on average for our 14 BGEs. They have not worked for us for naps or nights, but are great while DS is awake and seem easy enough for daycare and a cloth-oblivious grandma.

There's also the OS simplex. Both are totally worth the cost. My favorite diapers.

Do you like one more than the other?

We love them. Very absorbent and we love the natural fibers. I bought ours for $17 each as seconds and have had no issues whatsoever.

Yes. Pretty much our whole stash is now used BGEs, and if I had to do it all over again I would buy them again

Our whole stash is either BGE or Simplex OS. We bought all on sale/special. Try to find deals on them, they are great.

I have loved our stash of BGE's on my daughter. They do have holes now, but that is after everyday use for almost 2 1/2 years! I don't use them at night (we use fitteds) but I add a doubler for naps and they are fine. I finally decided to use them again on our DD due in December and just bought a stash of 30. They are worth their price in my opinion.

Yes. I prefer the Simplex, however, I think BGE is easier for daycare because of the long tongue style flap on the simplex.
