I'm undecided. DH wants to start with sposies until we get the hang of it, which I kind of agree. But I might get a few Thirsties Duo Wraps with prefolds and then add BGs once baby gains a little weight and I know his body type better.

Re: What will you diaper your newborn in?
Fitted's and PUL/Wool Covers. I'm leaning towards Sustainablebabyish, Kissaluvs & Stretchies Fitted's. First time mom and CD'ing so we'll see if I'm on the mark

Re: What will you diaper your newborn in?
I keep going back and forth. I have never cd with a newborn though. I would love to have cute little diapers but honestly we can't afford anything right now. I have lots of one size I may try on the baby but I don't know that they will fit unless I get another 10 lbs baby so i guess it just means we wait to see how big the baby is!

Re: What will you diaper your newborn in?
I've been using FB OS on my newborn (8.5 lbs) but it's not working out, he's too small for them and we're getting lots of leaks around the legs...looking for other options, including borrowing some PFs and Bummi wraps from a friend.

Re: What will you diaper your newborn in?
We've changed up plans a bit - converting over to mostly Alvas. I'm torn on if I'm going to de-stash my Softbums covers - I may keep some. Def destashing the inserts because I like the Alvas better. I am keeping the mini-pods though. I've got some Alva newborns lined up now, and then a shared stash with DD. We'll still have the prefolds and Imse Vimse covers available, too, but I think babe will be mostly in Alvas.
We're planning to do cloth from birth with this one for sure

Re: What will you diaper your newborn in?
I didn't like OS diapers on my last NB-she was 8.8 lbs. The diaper was huge so the clothes didn't fit at all! For this baby I bought a small stash of NB size and then mostly all smalls, and kept all of our OS pockets for her, too when she gets big enough.

We will be using prefolds and covers for newborn stage. I have 1 dozen preemie pfd, and 1 dozen newborn. Hoping to make a dozen or so contours. Then i will have 3 xs thirstiest, 1 newborn swaddlebees, and 4 newborn bummies, and 1 preemie imse vimse. And have a small stash started but I plan on just using grovia shells, flips, and gdiapers with prefolds and contours up to potty learning.

Re: What will you diaper your newborn in?
I plan on mostly fitteds and wool or fleece covers. I have some pockets from DS2 that I'll use too.

Re: What will you diaper your newborn in?
I'm very unsure of the beginning with a nb in the hospital and cloth. If you have to stay for a few days do you just bag the used ones till you get home? I like the idea of the fleece liners. I'm leaning towards the kissa fitteds and then prefolds with the thirstie xs covers
