Is there any protection at all, anywhere, if you just trade a diaper?

Do you insure diapers you ship for trades? Does it even matter?

Some people will exchange the same amount of money by PayPal for the value of the trade so that they have buyer protection. Depending on the value of the trade you might want to consider insurance too- stuff worth more than 50 dollars I would definitely consider it. And always get delivery confirmation!

I will never do a trade without trading trade value, in pp. I understand that's difficult and fees are charged but dang, there are a lot of trade burns that have been happening!

correct onlyway to fully protect yourself is to exchange pp funds, you send 50 and mom sends 50 you are both only out paypal funds but 100% protected under paypal.
