I've heard 8-9 times can be needed for hemp to get the oils out.

I know people definitely use sherpa also! both of those fabrics would be great for soakers.

I am planning on making some NB fitteds and finishing them 90% of the way (not adding elastics) and stashing them for when I have another. lol. I want to do 6 Rainy Days size 1, a few RRP reduced 85%, 3 NB fatty cakes, 3 NB/Sm Trimsies. I should at least get them cut. DS really needs cold weather pajamas.

Well, I got another one cut out. Its from a thermo shirt. I have enough for another for the front of another fitted. I also plan on using the arms to make some baby legs. Hopefully today I will get a chance to work on the one cut out.

I made one yesterday! All was well until I went to attach the snaps... my snap press broke a snap, I went to take it out and put a hole in the diaper... now I'm sad.

Stitch up the hole, gathering toward the center of the hole. After that it should be secure. Then put a new snap over the stitches. Hope this helps.

I had a chance to work on a fitted, got the elastic in and went to attach the inside piece and halfway I ran out of thread. so I have to take it all out
